On Friday, 28 April 2017, in the evening at around 20:00, in Kaunas, on V. Krėvės pr., at the junction with Partizanų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Renault (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
