On Sunday, 30 April 2017, in the afternoon at 15:51, in Telšių district municipality, Šlovių village, a Honda CB 500 (FOUR) rolled over. One person was injured — the 20-year-old driver of the Honda (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a helmet). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.97‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
