On Saturday, 6 May 2017, in the evening at 18:04, in Kaunas, on V. Krėvės pr. near No. 52, a BMW 330 XD hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed traffic rule violations that contributed to the accident, committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc. and was crossing the carriageway where prohibited.
