On Sunday, 7 May 2017, in the afternoon at 11:20, in Šakių district municipality, Batiškių village, on the Pilviškiai–Šakiai–Jurbarkas national road (kilometre 35.65), a BMW 320 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.82‰ blood alcohol).
