On Saturday, 6 May 2017, in the morning at 10:19, in Kėdainių district municipality, Aušros village, on Valinavos street, at the junction with Pavasario street, an Aprilia Area 50 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Aprilia (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.14‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
