On Tuesday, 9 May 2017, in the morning at around 9:00, in Šiauliai, on Varpo street near No. 27, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz and a Lexus GS 300. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (40 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
