On Thursday, 11 May 2017, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Anykščių district municipality, Aknystų village, on the Čekonys–Debeikiai–Žalioji regional road (kilometre 11), a Citroen Berlingo hit a pedestrian away from any crossing.
