On Friday, 12 May 2017, in the morning at 10:45, in Klaipėda, on Smiltynės street, a Mitsubishi Pajero ran off the road. Two people were injured — a 17-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient) and a 16-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
