On Tuesday, 16 May 2017, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kalvarijos municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street near No. 21, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 76-year-old driver of the Audi (50 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
