On Wednesday, 24 May 2017, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Piliakalnio street, at the junction with Jiesios pl., a Volkswagen Caddy ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (19 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
