On Sunday, 18 June 2017, in the afternoon at 13:21, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta national road (kilometre 26.20), an Audi ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
