On Monday, 19 June 2017, in the morning at 7:32, in Rokiškio district municipality, Kriaunų village, on Sartų street near No. 46, a Volkswagen Passat hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.49‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
