On Saturday, 10 June 2017, in the afternoon at 11:40, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Gudelių village, on Gudelių street near No. 7, a Skoda Octavia registered in Sweden hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Skoda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.28‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
