On Friday, 30 June 2017, in the evening at 17:30, in Skuodo district municipality, Vabalių village, on Tvenkinio street near No. 16, a moped rolled over. One person was injured — the 81-year-old driver of a moped (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 81-year-old driver of a moped, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.83‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
