On Sunday, 16 July 2017, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, Vaitiekūnų village, on Tarailio street near No. 13, a Nissan X-Trail hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Nissan (26 years of driving experience). He evaded sobriety testing and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
