On Saturday, 22 July 2017, in the morning at 9:30, in Kaunas, on Islandijos pl. near No. 32, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Qashqai and a Lexus IS 200. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Nissan (21 years of driving experience). She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
