On Friday, 28 July 2017, in the afternoon at 11:06, in Šilutės district municipality, on Vytauto street near No. 5, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Rover 220 and a Volkswagen Transporter. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Rover (7 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
