On Wednesday, 5 July 2017, in the afternoon at 13:05, in Telšių district municipality, on Sedos street near No. 28, on a bridge, a Volkswagen Golf hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (21 years of driving experience). He was drunk (2.51‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
