On Saturday, 5 August 2017, in the evening at 18:30, in Kėdainių district municipality, Siponių village, on Draugystės street near No. 13, an Opel Vectra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Opel. He was drunk (2.97‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
