On Saturday, 5 August 2017, at night at around 23:00, in Jonavos district municipality, Upninkų village, on Paupio street near No. 1, a vehicle ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
