On Sunday, 20 August 2017, at night at 4:05, in Prienų district municipality, Stakliškių village, on Kauno street, at the junction with Prienų street, a Mazda 626 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Mazda (less than a year of driving experience). He was drunk (0.80‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
