On Wednesday, 23 August 2017, in the afternoon at 13:15, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Žeimiai–Liepiai regional road (kilometre 3.81), a BMW 645 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
