On Sunday, 10 September 2017, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Ašigalio street near No. 29, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 118 and a Toyota Avensis Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the BMW (17 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
