On Monday, 11 September 2017, in the evening at 17:28, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Toliejai–Šnieriškės–Labanoras regional road (kilometre 2.60), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Honda Civic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.76‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. A 34-year-old passenger of the Honda was drunk (3.44‰).
