On Monday, 18 September 2017, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kauno district municipality, Kampiškių village, on Alšėnų street near No. 10, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 XD and a Fiat registered in Finland. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the BMW (28 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
