On Saturday, 7 October 2017, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Šiauliai, on Baltupėnų street near No. 1A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (6 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
