On Wednesday, 11 October 2017, in the evening at 19:24, in Panevėžys, on J. Tilvyčio street, at the junction with Viensėdžių street, a Renault Megane Scenic ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Renault (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (1.31‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
