On Sunday, 15 October 2017, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kauno district municipality, Juodonių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 112.70), a Volvo FH12 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Volvo (36 years of driving experience), who was driving fatigued. The driver was sober.
