On Tuesday, 17 October 2017, in the afternoon at 11:14, in Lazdijų district municipality, Būdviečio village, on Būdviečio street near No. 15, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Mercedes-Benz 814. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Opel, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.68‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
