On Tuesday, 31 October 2017, in the evening at 22:18, in Skuodo district municipality, Ylakių town, on Liepų street near No. 8, a BMW 524 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.80‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. A 27-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (1.88‰). A 18-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (0.24‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet.
