On Friday, 3 November 2017, in the morning at around 9:00, in Klaipėda, on Baltijos pr. near No. 10, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 206 and a Vauxhall Zafira registered in Great Britain. Two people were injured — the 29-year-old driver of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient) and the 27-year-old driver of the Vauxhall (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Peugeot (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
