On Sunday, 19 November 2017, in the evening at around 19:00, in Šilalės district municipality, Eželiškių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 213.10), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen and a Renault Laguna. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (8 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.54‰ blood alcohol).
