On Saturday, 25 November 2017, in the morning at around 6:00, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. near No. 18, a Mini ONE hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Mini (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.07‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
