On Saturday, 6 January 2018, in the evening at 18:55, in Kauno district municipality, Riogliškių village, on Kriūkų pl. near No. 12, a Volkswagen Golf hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He refused a sobriety test and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
