On Saturday, 13 January 2018, in the evening at around 19:00, in Šilutės district municipality, Vilkyčių village, on Vilkyčių street near No. 5, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Avant and an Audi A4 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Audi A6 Avant (6 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
