On Tuesday, 16 January 2018, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Vilnius, on Vikingų street near No. 1, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
