On Friday, 2 February 2018, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kaunas, on Eivenių street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Solaris Urbino 12 and a Seat Leon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Solaris (48 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
