On Sunday, 11 February 2018, in the evening at around 21:00, in Skuodo district municipality, on the Kretinga–Skuodas national road (kilometre 32.90), a Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (37 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations.
