On Monday, 12 February 2018, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Vilnius, on Vikingų street near No. 3, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot Partner and an Audi A6 Avant registered in Sweden. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 67-year-old driver of the Peugeot (33 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet.
