On Friday, 16 February 2018, in the afternoon at 13:43, in Telšių district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 58.30), a vehicle rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was icy.
