On Monday, 26 February 2018, in the afternoon at 15:20, in Kaunas, on Baltų pr. near No. 10, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Solaris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 67-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (35 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
