On Saturday, 3 March 2018, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Vilnius, on Verkių street near No. 29, a Peugeot 206 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered.
