On Saturday, 17 March 2018, at night at around 23:00, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street, at the junction with Jurbarko street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 7ER Reihe and an Audi 8D, Audi A4, -S4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
