On Friday, 30 March 2018, in the evening at around 20:00, in Šilalės district municipality, Kuodaičių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 239), a collision occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406 and an Audi A6 WW. Audi S6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Peugeot (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
