On Wednesday, 4 April 2018, in the afternoon at 13:20, in Rietavo municipality, Žadvainų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 260), a Dapa - hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the Dapa (25 years of driving experience), who violated cargo-transport rules. The driver was sober. A Scania P 92 HL had recorded faults (sukabinimo įrenginio). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
