On Friday, 6 April 2018, in the evening at 19:13, in Jonavos district municipality, on Lietavos street near No. 6, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and a Volkswagen Polo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
