On Wednesday, 25 April 2018, in the evening at 17:30, in Šilalės district municipality, Eželiškių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 240), a collision occurred. The collision involved a Toyota MR 2 and a Renault Magnum 440.19T registered in Ukraine. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Toyota (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
