On Saturday, 5 May 2018, in the afternoon at 13:10, in Šilalės district municipality, Kuodaičių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 241.80), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FH 440 and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations.
