On Friday, 11 May 2018, in the evening at around 19:00, in Vilnius, on Žalgirio street, at the junction with Linkmenų street, a Mercedes-Benz E 320 CDI rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (6 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
