On Saturday, 12 May 2018, in the evening at around 22:00, in Molėtų district municipality, Giraičių village, a Saab 9-3 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Saab, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.30‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
